The participant must continuously monitor their health condition (including taking their temperature and monitoring any symptoms) from 14 days prior. Health checks prior to travel and competition are recommended for all registered athletes and Organization staff in order to ensure identification of those with possible additional risks.
If required by the health authorities, accreditation of health or vaccination status may be requested. Likewise, medical tests prior to participation may be established as part of COVID-19 control protocols.
All participants, by taking the start, accept and sign the Disclaimer of Liability assuming these Regulations and the Rules of the RFEA, IAAF and FAA. In case of doubt, the criteria of the Judges, the Race Management and the Organization will prevail.
All participants, by registering, accept the publication of their basic data (name, surname, bib number, club, sex and category) for bib management and race classification purposes, and may appear in media and websites, as well as in official photographs and videos of the race. The data may be used by the Main Sponsor.
If the health situation caused by COVID-19 so requires, the measures considered appropriate will be adopted, always under the protection of the competent authorities, to guarantee as much as possible the safety of participants as well as their companions, public, sponsors and all personnel that make up the organization of the race (area managers, volunteers, suppliers, judges, media…).
The Start and Finish setups, refreshment points, services and public areas may be subject to restrictions or modifications in accordance with the COVID-19 protocol determined by the authorities at the time of the race.
Among the measures to be taken could be the reduction of the number of participants to a number considered safe for holding the race. In such case, the right of participation would be associated with the order of registration, with preference given to the first registered runners.
If such health situation were to require suspension of the race or reduction of the number of participating athletes, affected runners would have different options: postponing their registration to the next edition in which the race is held or requesting a refund of 80% of their registration fee to offset refund and organizational costs incurred.
