Due to the tragic train accident that has shaken the Spanish society and will affect transport over the coming days, the organisers of the Seville Half Marathon have decided to respond to requests from many runners who are facing serious logistical problems in reaching Sevilla this weekend and to transfer their BIB numbers to the 2027 edition.

We will shortly activate a support protocol for affected participants through a dedicated email account that will be set up for this purpose, so that registered runners who do not collect their bib and provide the required documentation may run in the next edition instead of this Sunday.

We join in the profound grief for the victims and injured, their families and friends, and we will observe a minute's silence before the start of this Sunday's race in memory of those who have died.
